Description:
This is the most complete port injection (MPI) fueling kit available for MQB vehicles integrating port injection and Flex Fuel in one kit. When VW developed the MQB platform for the North American market, they omitted port injection but still left the capabilities to control it within the ECU. This allows easy integration of port injection on the factory North American intake manifold or opt for a MPI-ready intake manifold for a more plug-and-play solution. These kits include all the required hardware to work seamlessly with the factory ECU when using the correct tuning software capable of running MPI. On top of this, the ECU contains native Flex Fuel support and all of our kits come Flex Fuel ready even if you get the sensor at a later time.
To make power fuel flow is king. To minimize flow restrictions and ensure the highest possible fuel pressure at the injectors, we opted for a flow-through rail as opposed to a dead-headed system as well as a by-pass line for flex fuel measurements as even the flex fuel sensor itself could be a restriction.
Optional MPI-ready Intake manifold for an easier install with no drilling and the ability to put the car back to North American stock spec.
Proper tuning software is required.
Includes:
- Fuel Rail - machined locally and designed for clearance and pass through flow. It has an OEM+ level of integration allowing you access to the oil filter and injector plugs.
- Your choice of flow matched and in-house tested 980cc (up to 550hp) or 1300cc (550hp and up) fuel injectors (E85 compatible)
- Fuel Pressure Sensor for closed loop LPFP control
- Plug and Play Fuel Lines with OEM-like integration. We have 2 versions of these - ones that include a flex fuel sensor and ones that omit the sensor
- Flex sensor bypass so you have 2 paths for fuel to flow - through the rail and through the Flex sensor thus maximizing flow
- Flex-ready wiring harness (Included whether or not the Flex fuel option is selected meaning adding Flex fuel later on only requires a sensor and fuel lines)
- Pinning plate for easy wiring installation and identification when installing the harness on the OEM ECU connector
- OEM grade, in house designed wiring harness
- Drill bit and Drill Guide Bullet (if MPI ready manifold not selected)
- Complete installation hardware
- Optional: MPI-ready Intake Manifold (No drilling your stock manifold)
- Optional: Flex Fuel Sensor (easy ethanol mixing at the pump!)
