Stratified Notes
The OEM intercooler in these cars has a large surface area but it is between the condenser and radiator. So you only really want to do this upgrade once. The OEM unit heatsoaks especially during extended pulls and this CTS unit bolts on and is significantly more resistant to head soak from its much greater mass. The only disadvantage is the weright over the nose vs OEM but when running high boost levels cooling takes precedent.

Stock GTI core size: 24.25"x1.25"x16.25" = 493.00 cubic inches
