Have you been dreaming of a 10-second MQB? This is the ticket. This turbocharger is more than capable of getting you there with the correct supporting mods and fuel. We have set up many fast MQB cars and this is an essential part of a high power and responsive TSI. The turbos feature a proven and well flowing TD06 turbine and a 71mm (exducer) billet 6+6 compressor wheel. The exhaust housing is a smooth stainless steel and the flow across the turbine and compressor is matched to avoid surge while maintaining response.
These turbochargers are built with the highest quality components and VSR balanced to ensure performance and reliability. The castings are smooth, precision machined, and not only perform well but are beautiful to behold. We stand behind each of these turbochargers with a 1 year warranty.
The STR71 come in two flavours (STR71 and STR71X) both being capable of over 500 wheel horsepower and spool times that are enjoyable both on the street and at the track.
