Installing an aftermarket BOV is a good idea when increasing the boost or airflow entering your motor. The HKS BOV can hold very high boost pressures and release pressure quickly (dual valves) and accurately to prevent surge. Most OEM stock valves are plastic and are designed to work at stock boost and airflow levels. Running the OEM by-pass-valve on modified engines becomes inadequate and these valves tend to leak and can't release pressure quickly enough. The result is simple: power loss. 

HKS Super SQV (Sequential Blow Off Valve) uses a unique sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system, which allows for a broad operating range from low boost to high boost. Its Pull-Type relief design ensures stable operation regardless of the amount of boost pressure. The Super SQV will support new generations of turbocharged vehicles.
