Treadstone's FMIC kit for the Ford Mustang EcoBoost 2.3 turbo features a TR10 base intercooler core which measures 21.5" x 11 x 3" and has a 2.5" inlet and outlet. The intercooler is capable of up to 600 horsepower, a much larger amount that the stock intercooler or similarly sized intercoolers can handle. The bar and plate design promotes great cooling ability from stock boost levels to as much as boost as the engine can handle. All hardware is included in the kit including couplers, clamps, and piping. Upgrading your intercooler will allow your turbo to push more air through the intercooler and allow the air to be cooled much better and still maintain the cooling ability while forcing a much larger amount of air than the stock turbo can throw at it. This would be ideal for both the stock turbo or an upgraded turbo setup making up to 600hp.
