DSG Tuning:
The COBB Accessport now also allows you to independently flash your Volkswagen's DSG transmission to change its shift behavior, shift points, as well as allow it to hold more power.
The transmission is flashed similarly to how the engine ECU is flashed. You are able via the AP to select an appropriate DSG calibration for your vehicle, install, and uninstall it. You are also able to datalog and monitor parameters similarly to how you datalog engine parameters.
The COBB AP also comes with some DSG service tools. These tools allow to adjust clutch touch points, or trigger a clutch relearn to account for clutch wear, slip, or even increased power application
The COBB AP comes with a set of preloaded COBB built calibrations for the DSG. For any further tuning of the DSG or ECU please select one of our ProTuner packages.
The shift points at full throttle have been selected based on achieving the maximum torque to the wheels based on dyno results recorded at COBB HQ.
COBB Aggressive:
• Torque limits removed. Gear display. Shift delay in manual removed. Forced upshifts disabled. Forced downshifts in manual disabled. Aggressive shift point change RPM above 2k mostly. Sport mode remains in 5th until 6200+. WOT shift points optimized for tuned is38 cars.
COBB Sport:
• Torque limits removed. Gear display. Shift delay in manual removed. Forced upshifts disabled. Forced downshifts in manual disabled. Sport shift point change, about 4-500rpm higher than stock. WOT shift points optimized for is38 cars.
COBB OEM+:
• Torque limits removed. Gear display. Shift delay in manual removed.
Simulated Stock:
• Stock-like DSG behavior. Does not uninstall Accessport.
