Had an awesome tuning experience with Alex. Top notch customer service, every question was answered even some not related to the tune. Responds quick to emails, also added time for days missed with out needing the customer to remind. Provided customer with a great learning experience. Willing to work with Stratified tuning for my next project. Recommened to all Mazdaspeed platform.

I cant say how pleased I am with my Stratified tune. Hands down, best money I have spent on this car. The hp/tq gain per dollar far outweighs any other mod you can do. Lex is extremely knowledgeable about the platform (with more than just tuning, this guy know every inch of the mazdaspeed 3). He progresses your car at a very safe rate, never putting your car in danger. Without a doubt, I would recommend Stratified Tuning to anybody looking for serious power without breaking the bank.

I purchased this tuning package from Stratified. I am super happy with Lex, he went above and beyond what I was expecting. I learned quite a lot in the process. I recommend Stratified's service very strongly.

Stratified Automotive Controls was amazing in this process, Alex was very clear in his instructions and was always willing to help with any of my questions. Outcome was a siginificantly faster and more fun car to drive.

The process on my end was really easy; log, load, go faster. I'd recommend this to everyone with a speed3.

My experience with Stratified Controls was a long yet pleasant experience. I started my tune on a SoCal NATOR Dyno day with a mildly bolted MS3. After discussing my options with my Tuner, Alex, we waited until I had all of the upgrades installed before continuing. Once we started tuning, I had quite a few mechanical issues which Alex was able to help me with. I decided to go with a stealthy Smog friendly setup that involved a BNR Stage 3 turbo, a TMIC, Grimspeed EBCS, Stock exhaust equipment, crappy California 91 Octane, and the dreaded summer heat. Multiple revisions had to be made over a 3 month period since my setup was extremely difficult to tune. Every revision felt like Christmas morning and making the logs was a lot of fun. In the end, I had all of my mechanical issues dealt with and a quick spooling 30% E-85 tune with a tractable power curve that allows me to drive with confidence in the canyons but still have a nice punch in the straights (and slightly better gas mileage than stock). If I had to do this again, I would not hesitate to do this all over again.

On a separate note, get the Guardian Angel. Only a fool would drive around unprotected.

So you are probably reading this to see if Stratified is the right choice for you. I'm going to guess that we are alike and only put top brand/quality items on our car. Stratified is no excuse, these professionals’ hands down know every Byte of the ECU.

The process it self was how all tuning should be. Alex was able to answer all of my questions, and follow all of my requests of how I wanted my car to perform. The car has gained more power from the tune then all of the mods I have done. The car feels great throwing me back in my seat every time I hammer the gas. There is no way around getting a tune for your car, its going to be needed it you want the top performance. Alex has stepped up my performance farther then I expected, Stratified is the way to go hands down.

When people ask for my list of mods, I give them the quick answer "Stratified."
